HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT TENNIS SHOES FOR CHILDREN?
Children's tennis shoes do not differ fundamentally in their characteristics from adult tennis shoes. WHEN CHOOSING THE RIGHT TENNIS SHOE, CUSHIONING, STABILITY, WEIGHT AND SIZE ARE ENORMOUSLY IMPORTANT.
TENNIS SHOES FOR CHILDREN
Size
In order to have the right freedom of movement during sprints and jumps while playing tennis, the toes should have about one centimetre of space in the shoe. It is therefore advisable to buy tennis shoes one size larger, especially for children's shoes. We therefore recommend trying on new tennis shoes with thick tennis socks.
Due to the permanent growth of the feet, proper fit should be checked regularly. This ensures a high wearing comfort and prevents incorrect posture due to shoes that are too small.
CUSHIONING AND STABILITY
In a tennis shoe, cushioning and stability are important factors, since children have to move in a variety of directions and stop abruptly during play. Good cushioning in tennis shoes helps to compensate for this difficulty.  Stability should be provided especially in the metatarsal area to prevent ankle injury.
WEIGHT
It is not possible to give a general rule as to how heavy or light the optimum tennis shoe should be. Nevertheless, the weight of the tennis shoes should be taken into account in the decision to buy. The tennis shoe should feel light on the foot, but still offer sufficient stability. Shoe ventilation is of particular importance in a sports shoe. Breathable materials are particularly light, offer sufficient ventilation and still provide the necessary support.
THE CORRECT TENNIS SHOE FOR EVERY SURFACE
Depending on the space available, you should choose between sand-court shoes, all-court shoes or carpet shoes. The various soles afford the best grip on the court.
clay COURT
Clay models are best suited for clay courts. The sole has a so-called herringbone pattern. The herringbone pattern offers a perfect grip, especially on very dry ash. This prevents slipping and allows controlled sliding to otherwise unreachable balls. After the match it is a good idea to knock out excess sand from the soles.
HARD COURT
As a rule, all models are suitable for hard courts. However, we advise against using the clay sole due to the high wear. We recommend the so-called non-marking all-court soles with good cushioning. The sole should not be too pronounced so that it is still possible to slide into the ball.

INDOOR (CARPET/GRANULATE)
Before playing on an indoor court, be sure to find out about the surface. On granulate surfaces all-court shoes are appropriate. Alternatively, you can also use sand court shoes, as long as they are free of all sand.On carpet you should opt for a model with a smooth and light non-marking profile. These tennis shoes glide perfectly on the carpet and facilitate play on slip-resistant surfaces Players who try to play with grip soles will indeed be thwarted.
RASENPLATZ
